Would strongly recommend this hotel “Superb location – quite remote which was exactly what we were looking for. Right by a lovely lake,so great for aurora spotting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great saunas. Exceptionally clean. And we loved the food – just like home cooking. Great opportunities for cross country skiing and walks through the forest right by the hotel.”
“It was the our first vacation in Finnland and it were the best holydays we ever had, except of our honeymoon. 7 days of adventure, excelently organized by wonderful friendly people, fulfilling your every wish and whim. Yes the Hotel is no 5 Star luxus temple, but all you really need is there. And to be honest, you only need your room to sleep. Because there are so many possibilities, skiing, husky safari, snowshoes, snowmobile safari, Northern lights, winter fishing and so on. To make a long story short, 5 Stars are not enough for our 7 days in Korpikartano.”
This was a magical place to visit – you – walk out onto the frozen lake and can hear the silence – trips were fantastic and staff so helpful and madWow, absolutely fantastic. Great wholesome, hearty food. Comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Included in my stay was snow shoe walking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, husky sledging, meeting reindeer herders and much more. Equipment provided and expert advice from expert guides. As an added bonus I got to view the aurora. Although I drew a blank ice fishing I have ticked many off my bucket list. I shall be returning with my family.
