Autumn colours

Experience the autumn colours of Lapland in Hotel Korpikartano. Nature starts changing colours in mid-August when the evenings get colder and the days shorter and in Finnish this is called “Ruska”. In the time of ruska you have the great possibility to see a beautiful variety of colours. At the same, time autumn is the perfect time for berry and mushroom picking.

Northern lights or Auroras are visible already from the last week of August in Inari and Hotel korpikartano. During autumn equinox Aurora activity tends to be stronger and change of seeing aurora gets better. Nights are shorter but not as cold as during winter time.
