Experience the midnight sun and enjoy daylight in the middle of the night. The period of nightless night in our area starts on 22nd May and ends when the sun dips below the horizon again on 22nd July.
Summertime you can hike in Lemmenjoki National Park, go for a boat or canoe trip or just relax by the lake. Spring is also the perfect time for birdwatching and in late-July the berry and mushroom picking season begins. The never-ending daylight gives you the opportunity to plan your holiday and summer activities as you like.
